-
Entry to the fair is only $5, including GST. Kids 12 and under get in free!
The cost for entry helps to reduce barriers for new and emerging vendors. OddBird Art & Craft Fair strives to keep the cost of participation low for vendors and customers alike!
Each season, we also donate a portion of entry fees to an Edmonton non-profit organization (this changes season-to-season; keep an eye on our socials to see which organization we’re donating too this season!).

OddBird Art & Craft Fair is located in Edmonton’s bustling Old Strathcona neighbourhood, at the Old Strathcona Performing Arts Centre (8426 Gateway Blvd NW) – just north of the farmer’s market! The best way to get to OddBird is with your friends – consider carpooling, ride-sharing, taking transit, walking or cycling with your buds!
By transit:
The venue is within two blocks of multiple Edmonton Transit bus stops. Check out the ETS trip planner or a maps app to plan your route!
By bike:
The venue is located along a number of bike paths and is a quick cycle up from Edmonton’s river valley trails. Bike racks are available in front of the venue.
By car:
Free (2-hour) and paid street parking can be found throughout the neighbourhood! There are also a number of convenient, paid parking lots around the venue. Download the hangtag app or use the City of Edmonton’s hotspotparking site for quick ‘n easy payment.
There’s also a large paid parking lot on the east side of Gateway Boulevard, opposite the venue. Please note that this lot gets quite busy with visitors for the Old Strathcona Farmers’ Market so it’s best to arrive early – early birds get the worm, as they say!
-
OddBird’s spring fair will take place fully indoors. It’s located at the Old Strathcona Performing Arts Centre, which is a sidewalk-level venue.
There is a small amount of short-term parking available immediately out front of the venue. A sloped sidewalk curb is available just north of the venue.
The venue contains two rooms with vendors (the “small room” and the “big room”). One section of the big room is raised on a stage, and is accessible via a small number of steps or a ramp along the right of the stage.
The facility includes accessible all-gender washrooms.
-
For customers looking for a quieter shopping experience, our least busy hours tend to be Sunday between 10-11am and 3-4pm.
-
Furry friends of the four-legged variety are welcome! Please be sure your pet is leashed and comfortable navigating a busy indoor environment.
-
Our $5 entry fee can be paid by cash, card, or ApplePay.
Most vendors accept payments by cash or card, but best to come prepared with both to avoid disappointment. We won’t have an ATM on site this season, but ATMs can be found at banks on and around Whyte Ave. -
This spring, our pals at Balay Coffee will be serving up coffee (including all your fave espresso drinks!), tea and tea lattes, sweet treats (including a gluten-free option) and sandwiches. Interested in being a coffee vendor at an upcoming fair? Please send us an email!
There is a free water fountain available on site. -
